🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day! 🇺🇸

Hey beautiful!

I wanted to hop into your inbox today to chat a little bit about Memorial Day and what it's truly all about. 🇺🇸

​

Some of us may have just been thankful for another reason to be with family, a day off work, or the sign that it is warming up so swimming season is upon us - which are all great things!

​

But Memorial Day is so much more than that!

​

Memorial Day is a day to remember those who paid the ultimate price for the freedoms we enjoy in this country each and every single day.

​

People whose names you will never know and whose faces you will never see have died fighting wars in countries you will never step foot in so that you can enjoy this day with your friends, family, and loved ones.

​

And of course, we cannot talk about those being willing to die for us + giving us freedom without giving glory to the One who was the ultimate sacrifice - Jesus Christ - who died on the cross for our sins and DEFEATED death, hell, AND the grave so that each of us can have everlasting life with Him for ALL of eternity!! 🙌

​

So as you enjoy today, I pray you take a few moments to be intentionally thankful (no matter your stance on the military or war) for those who are courageous, selfless, made the choice to fight for our freedoms, and paid the ultimate price with their lives. 🙏
