Are you in the fiery furnace right now? 🔥🔥🔥

Hey beautiful,

I thought of you today! 💕

You see, I was driving along and a song came on the radio called “Fires”. And the words of this song resonated so deeply in my soul, and it made me think that maybe you could relate to it too. So I wanted to share it with you!

You see Reader, this world is wasting away as we speak. But there is hope!!

Because of Jesus Christ we have a beautiful blessed assurance that through the trials of this life, in the midst of going against the grain, and as we walk through the valley of the shadow of death we are not alone. There is Someone walking through these things with us.

Just like in Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego’s case when they would not bow down to worship King Nebuchadnezzar’s gods or idols in Daniel chapter 3.

When the 3 boys were faced with the ultimatum - bow down or death by a fiery furnace - they chose to stay faithful to their God - the One True God.

And because of their faithfulness there was a mighty miracle done for them! The Son of God was seen in the midst of the fiery furnace with them (Daniel 3:24-25).

So I ask you today, beautiful sister, what is it that is asking you to bow in fear?

What is asking you to forsake your God + King?

What circumstance is looking dead?

What area in your life is God asking you to put on the altar for Him to take charge of?

Be honest with yourself. Be honest with God. Be honest with Jesus about your fears and how hard it is to let go of control.

And then let Him show up for you. Right here. Right now.

Because we serve a God who can give you beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, a garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61:3)!!

And no matter if you’re abounding in blessings or abased in struggles you can make the choice as Paul did to say “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength”! (Philippians 4:11-13)

So if you’re in the midst of some fires right now, take the 3 minutes to listen to the song that inspired this email. You can find it:

>>> Or on Spotify by clicking here.

And don’t let this be a “one and done” thing. If you were needing this encouragement today, dig into these verses + stories of when people did not bow down to anyone but God Almighty. And then let Him remind you of His faithfulness.

But don't stop there. fill your playlist + mind with encouraging songs that are reminding you of God’s faithfulness + promises as well.

We need these reminders to make it through the tough times.

Repetition brings retention. Don’t be ashamed of going back to the same things over + over again if you have to.

God is with you. He will strengthen you. Submit yourself to God + resist the devil. As you humble yourself before Him, The Almighty will lift you up (James 4:7-10). 💕

In Christ’s love,
